As a Data Engineer, you will be working with our Business Intelligence Team to maintain and develop the data warehouse. You will be responsible to build scripts, tools, infrastructure, frameworks, and services to ensure the data warehouse captures data in a comprehensive and timely manner and that ongoing improvement, enhancements and changes to the product are reflected in the data warehouse. You will also work with our Business Analysts to add meta-data layers to improve and enhance reporting and analytics practices.

In this role, you’ll join our SMB Professional Services team in Bielsko-Biala.
Under minimal supervision in this position you will provide advanced technical services for customers and Pitney Bowes Field Systems Specialists. The position is a global shared resource for deployments of product offerings. You will rely on a thorough understanding of our software applications to design and implement solutions. The position provides consulting services throughout the lifecycle of solutions and projects to both external and internal customers; such as, but not limited to, project management, consulting, application feasibility studies, technical presentations, development and implementation of technical solutions and training.
You will be responsible for:
- Deploying complex systems solutions directly to our customers
- Design, develop, and deploy custom software applications which facilitate the integration of Pitney Bowes systems solutions
- Install, integrate, configure and customize Pitney Bowes systems solutions to satisfy requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Provide technical support to assist Field Systems Specialist resources to resolve complex systems implementation issues resulting in reduced installation cycle times
- Program and provide services to customers who require advanced levels of communication / network integration
WYMAGANIA:
- Educated to Degree level within IT
- Solid knowledge of: MSSQL, JavaScript, jQuery
- Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET as a plus
- Understanding of current IT trends and best practices
- Excellent English Language communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Self-motivation, willingness to learn and grow
