For our Client, a well – known international producer, we are currently looking for a person who will join its structure at dynamic position of Associate Purchasing Manager.
The person in this role will be in charge of providing detailed business, industry and financial analysis and both leading and supporting indirect and direct procurement categories. Therefore, this dynamic position involves conducting external industry and market analysis and internal research in support of the Strategic Procurement Methodology and supporting Procurement Strategies creation as well. Moreover, the Candidate will be responsible for supporting, preparing, leading and negotiating commercial deals and legal contracts. What is more, his/her range of obligations will include creating both demand and supply profiles and preparing detailed cost analysis. Associate Manager will be accountable also for organizing and leading meetings between suppliers and key internal stake holders and participating as a category team member on conference calls, WebEx and meetings. Developing Supplier Scorecards and proactively bringing forward process improvements are also part of this role.
To be a successful Candidate, you should have at least 3 years of experience in business function, preferably connected with procurement and a bachelor’s degree in business or finance. Professional knowledge of negotiation, financial analysis, problem solving and project management is a must. Experience gained in matrixed and global organization is also very welcome. What is more, a perfect Candidate would have a fluent command of English and excellent IT skills (including SAP program and MS Office). Analytical mindset and strong, hands – on project management skills and excellent communication skills are essential to be successful on this position. Additionally the candidates should present cooperative work – style and ability to build and maintain relationships, as well as flexibility in approach to projects. Working effectively under pressure is also very welcome.
