Your new company
For our client, a famous, international finance and operations service centre with location in Cracow, we are looking for the AR Accountant.
Your new role
- On a daily basis input all treasury journals into Oracle.
- weekly cash reports and Cash Forecasts preparation by the deadline, queries answering, close cooperation with US.
- On a weekly basis complete bank reconciliations for all general bank accounts. Identify all reconciling items and ensure these items are cleared as soon as possible.
- All cash related accounts must be reconciled monthly. Identify all reconciling items and ensure these items are cleared as soon as possible.
- Reconcile the unapplied wires balance sheet account to the unapplied wires list within the daily cash report spreadsheet. Identify all reconciling items and determine what action needs to be taken to clear them. Once reconciled liaise with order audit to clear the outstanding wires.
- Booking the revaluation of all foreign currency bank accounts.
- Netting upload and booing, IC settlements monitoring, payments preparation, cooperation with other departments to clear the outstanding balances.
- Cash pooling.
What you'll need to succeed?
- Masters' degree in business finance or accounting required.
- Adept at quickly and accurately processing large volumes of paperwork.
- Knowledge of major computer system within, particularly accounts payable, a large, complex organization.
- At least 1 year experience on similar position.
- Accounting knowledge.
- Fluent English to maintain query resolution process.
- Experience of Excel to at least intermediate level.
- Proven ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work closely as part of a team.
