HRO Personnel is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 6696. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Application Developer
Responsibilities:
• Technical expert on problems/issues
• Point of contact for business queries
• Co-ordination and prioritization of work
• Creates, updates and critiques production support documentation as necessary
• Promotes code updates to production
• Supervise and manage junior staff members
• Escalates problems to development and notifies business
• Participates in key production projects, performs user acceptance testing (UAT) testing and assists with developing implementation strategies
• Partners with business, operations, development and QA teams on daily activities and with projects and testing initiatives
• Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, assesses each using standard procedures and makes a sound decision
Qualifications:
Required
• Experience in SQL and using SQL Server Management tools e.g. for writing/advising/running table definition scripts etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of Windows o/s & IIS is desirable e.g. stop/starting services, managing IIS instances, in addition to the routine configuration changes would be nice to have
• Experience of Xceptor would be a nice to have.
