Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is an international organization operating in the production and development of pharmaceuticals.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Analytical Scientist will be involved in multiple projects for product development in early stage, and the position will primarily be based on formulation activities both theoretically and practically. Your focus will be on analytical method development in order to accelerate the scope of product innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- develop robust analytical methods which are ready for validation
- application of quality and laboratory standards for the optimization of analytical methods
- keep up with scientific developments with regards to analytical technologies and rheology
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc/PhD in chemistry, analytical or pharmaceutical sciences with at least 5 years relevant working experience in the industry
- understanding of the ICH-, FDA-, and EMEA guidelines for method development and GDP/GLP requirements
- strong understanding of and experience with rheology (oscillatory), UPLC/HPLC & GC development, DLS, Karl Fischer and thermal profiling
- knowledge of statistical testing and R/Python programming
- team player with excellent communication skills who is able to contribute in scientific discussions
