For our Client, a services company we are looking for Candidates willing to work on a position of an Accounting Manager.
Working on this position, the Candidate will have to take responsibility for daily accounting activities connected to maintaining and reviewing company’s general ledger, as well as for the periodical closing activities, the maintenance and documentation of all financial transactions and for the ad hoc financial reports. What is more, while being on this position, it will be also essential to supervise and manage the accounting staff. Duties will include provision of training, recognition of talents within teams, creation of development plans, conduction of performance meetings and annual appraisals, as well as ensuring the integration of teams. Furthermore, the Candidate will need to continually identify areas for improvement, implement opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, anticipate areas of risk and foster a good working environment.
We are looking for Candidates having master’s degree in accounting, finance or an equivalent. We require at least five years of experience in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable or similar positions. Three years’ experience in team management and leadership is welcomed. Furthermore, proficient command of English is expected, as well as a strong understanding of Polish accounting, local GAAP and IFRS. A successful Candidate should be also characterized by the ability to analyze financial data in a timely fashion, work effectively under stressful conditions and have a broad knowledge in the area of consolidation accounting, financial policies and procedures, as well as operating and capital budget concepts.
