For our Client, very big international company, we are currently looking for Candidates on ponsition of Accounting Manager EMEA.
This person will be providing services in financial accounting, statutory reporting and general ledger management according to US-GAAP and local accounting regulations.
The Accounting Managers primary tasks are managing the EMEAfinancial area, monitoring and controlling the assets and commitments of the company. On this position you will be close to all EMEAcountry legal entities. The position is at Associate Director level and is based in Warsaw.
On this position you will be responsible for managing the monthly finance and statutory reporting cycle to the EMEACFO and US/EMEA finance functions, preparation and control of monthly and year-end financial close according to all required accounting principles (e.g. local statutory requirements, US-GAAP and local EMEA GAAP), in local and global finance systems, managing the GL, AP, AM, T&E, Procurement systems for all legal entities according to the statutory requirements, with the assistance of the European Finance Centre (EFC), managing the EMEA corporate accounting team, managing the EMEAexternal accounting service providers. Other duties will include performing balance sheet reviews and ensure all reconciliations completed, responsibility of and overview of all intercompany transitions for EMEA region, including client specific recharges, responsibilty for working with the finance team to review cash flow forecasts and ensure all entities are appropriately capitalized, control of in time payments for withholding tax, trade tax, corporation tax and others, onboarding of new clients – work with the client finance manager to ensure revenue recognition criteria in place, revenue recognition for US GAAP purposes and contract management.
From our Candidate we expect University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics, preferably CPA certificate and Master's degree, at least four years international financial management and/or accounting experience, at least two years personnel management experience, fluent in Polish and English.
