For our Client, a Shared Services Centre of a multinational company from a financial industry based in Poznań, we are looking for a Team Leader of the Accounting Department.
Your new role
As a Accounting Team Leader you will be keeping books of the Group: day-to-day verification of accounting activities and tasks connected with period-end closing. You will cooperate closely with the Board, Auditors and other entities in the company, prepare and submit CIT and VAT declarations. Moreover, you will be responsible for facilitating communication with Accounting Specialists from other countries and entities, supervising Accountants' work, allocating tasks and more.
What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate for a Team Leader of the Accounting Departmentwill have a University degree in Finance and Accounting and knowledge of Polish accounting or IFRS/US GAAP. What is also necessary is minimum 4 years of accounting experience working in a corporate environment, leadership experience, knowledge of VAT, CIT and statistical reporting and good understanding of accounting regulations. Fluent Polish and English, analytical thinking, familiarity with MS Office and accounting systems are also essential.
