2 nd Line Network Support
Miejsce pracy: TczewFor our customer, who is the world leader in digital security, with more than 15,000 employees operating out of 118 offices and 27 R&D centers, located in 49 countries, we are looking for a candidate on the position of Network Support Engineer. This role is placed in the Infrastructure department that provides messaging and collaborative tools as well as connectivity and firewalling services to all employees worldwide. We are searching for young and ambitious engineer to join our HQ Core IT and Network Support team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing level 2 application and Network support for WW employees. These include WAN/LAN & Firewall (Juniper, basic trouble shooting), Opnet and Polycom Video Conf.
- Supporting escalations from Incident Management team or Service Desk or 3 rd party service providers.
- Supporting Problem Management team in problem investigation.
- Day-to- day operational activities for the core services application in your scope, for instance, regular patching of Polycom. SPOC for tickets that need arbitration between the different support groups.
- Ensuring that company’s policy is correctly applied in service request fulfillment undertaken by service providers
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in supporting WAN and LAN (you will be working with various equipment, e.g. Cisco)
- Very good knowledge of English
- Clear and precise communication skills in both spoken and written communication
- Team worker and who is pro-active, curious, responsive and rigorous
- Working experience with firewall and/or Opnet will be a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunication.
