Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
the role of the Telecom & Network controller is to support the European data Network activity. The successful candidate will participate to maintain and improve the current level of quality, and will participate / lead projects like our new WAN deployment or our Core switches upgrade. The successful candidate will also implement new technology like NAC or Bring Your Own device
- provide 1st and 2nd line support for existing European infrastructure, ongoing & future developments and to assist Nissan-Europe in reviewing and developing new and existing network links and maintaining high availability of the network infrastructure
- works closely with Renault and the Nissan IT Operation team
- to promote and implement Alliance solutions
- to improve and control the service delivered
Background & Experience:
- qualified to degree level in IT or equivalent
- can demonstrate at least 3 years experience in Network and preferably within an International working environment
- demonstrable experience working with Cisco Architecture, IOS, WIFI, ToIP, VCoIP, DHCP, DNS, FW, ISA servers, ACE, proxies and video streaming and specifically on Cisco 6500
- sense of accountability and a strong communication and problem solving skills
- ability to present clear & easy to understand results (metrics) to other teams
- experience of trouble shooting and analytical skills
- organized, structured, process orientated, flexible & capable of multitasking
- experience of project management
- a good team player with experience of working in multi-cultural environment with remote management
- flexible in travel arrangements (AMIE travel may be regularly required.)

Minimum Education Required: Europe - Licence/Degree/Candidate - 3 or 4 years degree after A Level
