material handling - engineer

Randstad Sp. z.o.o. For our Client from United Kingdom we are looking for:

Mission and Main Objectives:

engineer required to join existing team of MH Engineers specifically looking at new model planning and introductions of B12g, W32S and future J02c and B12L

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• packaging engineering for in-plant Logistics operations

• new Model or other Project initial study & budget setting

• new Model packaging / facility development and procurement

• operational engineering support of Material Handling shop floor sections

• budget control and reporting

Background & Experience:

• proven capability of packaging design & procurement in an automotive logistics or similar environment

• relevant Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

• good PC skills with word processing and spreadsheet data management

• working knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD , Space vision)

• proven leadership & negotiation skills

• management skills – Ability to coordinate multiple activities.

• good communication skills are essential.

• previous experience within Material Handling / Logistics engineering operation preferred but not essential.
