For our Client, an international company from production sector with its Shared Service Centre in Gdańsk we are currently looking for experienced Workday Specialist / HRIS Specialist.

The purpose of the job is to provide tailor-made reports and dashboards to clients and colleagues. Workday/HRIS Specialist will be also responsible for implementation and maintenance of authorization structure in the systems (Workday). She/he will be expected to take care for trouble shooting on both technical and functional issues in the systems and maintain quality and consistency of HR information system, ensuring personnel actions are in compliance with current HR policies and guidelines. This role provides HRIS functional support to HR and other staff through proposing improvement of HR processes/working methods.

Main responsibilities:
  • Develops, designs, builds, tests, implements, maintains and enhances authorization structure.
  • Maintains quality and consistency of HR information system.
  • Troubleshoots, analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects technical and functional problems and deficiencies. Resolves complex problems.
  • Runs scheduled reports and creates reports as needed.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving Human Resources processes through information systems changes.
  • Assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems (modules), operational changes, adjustments of working methods / processes
  • Develops training curriculum and conducts formal and informal training sessions regarding the HRIS.
  • Provides HRIS functional support to Human Resources and other staff.
  • Assists / trains colleagues in using HR systems/applications (sharing knowledge of HR systems / explains working methods)
  • Serves as liaison among HRIS, Benefits, Human Resources, Recruitment and Payroll areas with regard to operations and the HRIS.

Required knowledge and skills:
  • Design, installation and maintenance of Workday HRIS system (knowledge of Time Tracking, Absences, Advanced Compensation module and Reporting nice to have);
  • Various computerized information process flows and impact between the HRIS, Benefits, Human Resources and Payroll;
  • Information system structure, operations and administration;
  • Reporting tools, report development and design;
  • HR, Benefit and Payroll laws, regulations, procedures, and operations (preferably);
  • Microsoft Office applications (it requires advanced knowledge of Excel).
  • Deep understanding of Workday system
  • English allowing business communication / Other European languages nice to have
