For our Client, international company located in the center of Krak贸w, we are currently looking for a person interested in the role of Windows System Engineer that will join newly created IT team.
Your new role
Holding this position you will be a subject matter expert on all technologies with regard to Windows Server hosting including application installation, administration and support. You will be expected to develop and maintain standardized configurations for related technologies and to ensure high levels of performance and availability for in scope applications. You will also support the Windows Platform Team Leader to establish and maintain standard practices on specification, configuration and management of Windows Server instances to support operation and growth within private and AWS data centres. You will operate and maintain AWS server infrastructure used for hosting of Windows Server and associated technologies, provide outstanding support to key stakeholders, and troubleshoot performance, quality and availability issues with Windows servers associated hosted applications and technologies.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Candidate on this role you need to possess at least 3-5 years of experience supporting mission critical Windows Server and IIS based commercial services, ideally internet facing. Experience with troubleshooting of Windows Server performance, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery of Windows instances is also required. Desired skills also include MS Windows Server and IIS skills, Windows Server operation within an AWS or other public cloud environment, Active Directory, Windows patch, DNS server, mail server management, ITIL based service management, and TCP/IP networking configuration experience.
