For our Client, multichannel retail company, we are looking for Web Developer with Java.
Your new role
This position will be a contributing member of the Digital team, a software engineering organisation based in the International Markets focusing on the design, development, unit testing, and implementation of efficient, cost effective application development solutions on multiple digital platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design, Develop intermediate and large projects.
• Formulates/defines technical specifications.
• Develop or modify custom applications to meet distinct and changing business requirements
• Participates in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) of both new development and enhancement projects.
• Function within a SCRUM or KANBAN team and participate in planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, bug fixes, and enhancements.
• Support the QA group in developing test plans, test scripts and preparing for production releases.
What you'll need to succeed
• 3 – 5 years of Software Development experience.
• Thorough understanding of Java 8 or higher
• Advanced knowledge of web development tools and technologies (Javascript, JQuery HTML5 / HTML , CSS3 / CSS , JSON, and interaction with REST APIs).
• Solid understanding of user interface/experience design principals
• Create technical, functional, and support documentation in Confluence
• Experience in using unit testing tools such as Postman, Sonarqube, and JUnit that verify core logical functionality as derived from acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with Maven or Eclipse IDE tools
• Ability to use GIT or Stash for source code management.
• Experience in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for code deployment.
• Work directly with QA /Test team members to resolve issues and defect
• Familiarity with navigating and updating workflow tasks in JIRA
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager
