VP Operations Europe/Lean Director
Facilities change agent, driving change and achieving sustainable results. This position directs engineering, production, distribution, and other operations by performing the following duties. Establishes strategies, determines priorities, and effectively aligns projects with business objectives by working with plant leadership and the European COO. Manage, tracks, and executes the cost improvement program for operations. Must ensure savings targets are achieved, and to do this must evaluate gaps and identify solutions. There is a huge possibility that the candidate after 6-12 months can become the General Manager of one of the European operations.

Our Client is an industrial equipment, international manufacturing company located in Lesser Poland district. Due to a rapid growth and a need to strengthen personnel we are searching for high potential person for VP Operations Europe/Lean Director position.
Description
- Responsible for performance measurements and analysis, tracking data and identifying trends, project identification and execution and savings delivery;
- Driving and initiating change across the organization;
- Act as a role model for the organization for change improvement in the whole Europe;
- Serve as core member of site leadership team to ensure Operational Excellence principles and culture are followed and Operational Excellence objectives are incorporated into the organization's strategic plan and goals;
- Engage and empower managers and employees to implement new processes that significantly improve the quality and productivity of its manufacturing sites and core processes;
- Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with procedures and metrics that impact quality, safety, process and productivity improvements throughout the company;
- Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with internal and external customers to accomplish business objectives and achieve outstanding customer service;
Profile
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering and/or Physical Sciences;
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a Continuous Improvement;
- Good understanding of Industrial controlling;
- Minimum of 2-3 years of General Management experience;
- Experienced in Kaizen philosophy implementation and Lean Management;
- Experience with Project Management;
- ERP knowledge (company is using SAP)
- Fluency in Polish and English, German is a plus;
- Ability to travel up to 80%;
