On behalf of our Client, we are currently looking for experienced and motivated individual to take up the Vendor & Inventory Analyst position and to join the team in Siemianowice Śląskie.
Initial contract duration: 6 months with option to extend
Our Client is a global Industrial and Mining company with locations on five continents and operations in more than 25 countries. With over 40 years of experience, our client is an industry-leading provider of solutions in mining, construction and civil engineering industries.
Vendor & Inventory Analyst
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze vendor terms and identify opportunities for improvement
- Measure and report actual terms vs contractual terms and improvement progress
- Improve processing activities to improve adherence to contractual terms and reduce resources required to pay vendors and execute controls
- Communicate with vendors with regards to terms, policies, performance and other vendor relationship challenges
- Analyze Inventory trends and develop reporting to minimize slow moving and obsolete stocks,
- Develop a program to drive sales of slow moving inventory and report on performance by sales team
- Improve processing activities to reduce days of stock held.
Wymagania
- Minimum 3-year experience in a similar role
- Prior experience reviewing and analyzing legal contracts
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Ability to analyze and interpret numerical data
- Written & spoken English required. Knowledge of other European language will be an asset
- Knowledge of Russian language is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information in everyday language
- Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, at all levels
- Influencing skills
- Regional travel required
