EY GDS is proud to announce establishing a new team in its EMEA center in Wroclaw – Travel Center Team for French-speaking internal customers. The goal of the Travel Center is to guarantee our internal clients satisfaction and compliance with EY Travel policy. The Travel Center will hire expertly trained agents, whose daily support will be highly beneficial in mitigating travel risks, improving travel policy compliance and improving travel savings. The opportunity

With developing the Travel Center for French-speaking internal customers, we are looking for experienced travel agents who have not only practical knowledge of travel booking systems, but also speak French fluently. Whether you’re interested in developing your customer service skills or using French in a business environment, this is a role for you. You can expect a day-to-day exposure to a global working environment and the support of experts both from travel arrangement field, and global administration team.

Your key responsibilities

The main focus of your role would be fulfilling our global travel arrangement strategy in terms of choosing the best fit in-policy travel solutions for your internal customers, as well as discussing and booking the best solutions. You will have a daily exposure to French-speaking managers and senior partners of EY. Just imagine the influence of your duties on their success in performing any travel-related tasks. Apart from the travel-related duties, you will have an influence on the relationship with the client and contribute to the global travel arrangement strategy. No travels will be required for this role.

Skills and attributes for success

  • You will be responsible for qualifying the nature of travel requests, searching and proposing in-policy solutions per travel requirements
  • You will support EY’s partners by providing relevant travel and policy related information
  • Booking transportation, accommodation and other travel services (via the online corporate booking tool or directly via the travel agency depending on complexity) will be one of your daily duties
  • You will also ensure pre-trip approval of each request
  • Changing or cancelling travel bookings might be needed in some cases
  • You will be obliged to enter required data into the back office system and bring complaints to the right travel vendor

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Excellent knowledge of travel booking systems
  • Proven experience as a travel agent
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal clients
  • Reactivity and ability to manage urgent travel needs in a calm and professional manner
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Sound knowledge of travel industry
 
 
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Personal travel experience and geographic knowledge
  • A university degree in Hospitality, Travel or Tourism
 
 
 
What we look for

We’re interested in hiring professionals with excellent communication skills, performed both oral and written on a daily basis (both in English and French). You should be able to work independently and remain effective in case of an urgent travel need.
