Transport coordinator

Work Service International is leader of the Polish work service market. For our client in The Netherlands we are looking for:

Transport coordinator

Main responcibilities:

• Daily contact with clients about operational matters and transport
• Overview at the progress and realisation of the transport, give advice about transport possibilities and remark bottlenecks
• Solve or intervene at imperfections (such as no delivery, damage, refuse) and advice in service follow up
• Monitor if operational procedures and information about transport is excecuted well and adjusticate if the results are according to the standards as mentioned in the SLA (Service Level Agreements)
• Inventarisation and analyse relevant information and process this information in reports and managementinformation according to KPI’s (costs indicators)
• Monitor that all transportmovements are executed in a safe and legal way according to the requirements EQH&S targets (Envirionment, Quality, Health & Safety)
• Garding and stimulation of a good communicatiohn and coorporation with client and/or supervisors/managers and deliberation when there are problems
• Making reports if there are deviations at the SLA., takes measures prevending problems or is improving processes and will make sugestions to improve quality
• Evaluation of the past provision of services

Requirements and profile of candidate:

For this job we are looking for a candidate with a higher education in logistics. Beside education you must be natural communicator (spoken and written) in English.

You must have experience in a similair job and must be able to work individual and in a team. You are good in creating clear analyses and able to present this information in writing and in person. You are experienced with MS Office, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
