Your new role
This is a unique opportunity for you who have experience within software development or the financial industry and join a distributed team on the journey from on-premise to SaaS. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, execution and development of tests on platform View21. You will perform test activities in close collaboration with the QA/Test manager, other members of the test team as well as developers. The test and release team consists of twenty employees located in Poland and Norway. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks within the quality assurance area, such as test planning, preparation, execution, analysis and documentation of test results. Moreover, performing functional tests, setting up test environment and configures test data in order to commence test execution.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have minimum bachelor degree in IT or finance, minimum 2 years relevant experience within software development or finance. What’s more, deep interest in, and understanding of, software and how it is made. Experience in SQL and databases administration. To succeed in the role as a Test Engineer, you need to have an extensive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and an ability to understand the customer needs. You need to have a collaborative working style, and the ability to work well with other team members and customers. Furthermore, you are a fast-learner with a continuous improvements mindset and an ability to accomplish tasks with minimal guidance. Fluent English and good communication skills are also required.
