We are looking for somebody to be a leader of a small testing team that performs manual testing of a web application from one of our clients. You will be responsible for planning the testing process, creating test strategy and participating in testing efforts (writing test cases, regression testing, coordinating UAT) in order to ensure highest possible quality level.
Essential responsibilities:
- Create, maintain and enhance test plans
- Write test cases for new tests
- Perform manual tests
- Report defects in the management system and ensure the status of the defect is tracked to closure
- Communicate the test results to Project Managers and Development Leads
- Run or actively participate in Project Meetings (stand-ups, retrospective, planning)
Required skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in QA
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Test Cases Management tools knowledge (Jira, qtest, HPALM, Quality Center, etc.)
- Knowledge of database queries (SQL)
- Proficient in test plans and test strategy creation
- Experience in manual testing of web applications
- Good soft skills, communicative
Nice to have:
- ISTQB Foundation Level/Test Manager
- Experience as a Test Coordinator/Test Manager
- Experience in leading a team
- Knowledge about test automation
