TOMS Polska is looking for Lab Technicians to be part of our new prestige project of establishing a new chocolate factory in Nowa Sól.
This position has a direct ability to impact product quality and food safety and ensure only quality product is delivered to consumers and customers. The Lab Technician position is a part of our Quality Department and requires interfacing with Product Development and Production Departments.
The key responsibilities of this job will include:
Performance of analysis for physicochemical, sensory, rheology and microbiology section for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods
Interpretation of data and reports on trend/data analysis
Support production in decisions related to quality and food safety
Review and assist with updates of manual and methods of laboratory management system
Tracking, releasing or holding finished product from production
Support root cause analysis and provide information on deposition decisions for held product
Support traceability exercises, product trace and recall procedures
Audits GMPs, procedures and paperwork on the production floor
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or other related field, required
Minimum 2-3 years of analytical laboratory experience, preferred in food industry
Proficient in general laboratory techniques
Proficient and knowledgeable in microbial techniques a plus
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards, as well as lab management system
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Accurate, able to work with deadlines
Start of work: 1st April 2019
