THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is an international player in the development and production of biopharmaceuticals.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Your main task will to be perform a number of hands-on assignments related to the department's study plans for process development. You will closely cooperate with a senior technician and the scientist in your team in order to improve the set-up and execution of assays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- execution of experiments and tests such as DSP/USP-related tests, formulation, characterization in accordance with xGLP
- documentation and reporting/evaluation of test results
- participation in writing of study plans, SOPs and protocols
- development and implementation of new techniques and assays
- troubleshooting and communication with external parties for equipment maintenance
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master education in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related disciplines
- approx. 1 year working experience and exposure to either Upstream (USP) or Downstream (DSP) processing
- good knowledge of cGMP is a plus
- fluent in English (both oral and written)
