Technical Support Engineer


Job Description

Technical Support Engineers provide support and resolve customer cases for our ad-serving platform, including system configuration, network setup and diagnosis, websites integration and day-to-day use of the solutions. The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical assistance and remote troubleshooting support as a part of global support organization. You will also work closely with engineers, product managers, and sales engineers to improve the product's vision and to make our customers' business successful.

This position is based on the short run in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities:

•    Provide support and resolve customer cases for the Smart AdServer’s platforms and other products in system configuration.
•    Provide technical assistance and developer support as part of a global support organization.
•    Work closely with engineers, product managers, and sales engineers to improve the product's vision and to make Smart AdServer’s customers successful.


Requirements

• Master degree preferred in Computer Science or related technical degree.
• Relevant industry experience in technical support, professional services or online marketing
• Strong understanding of Web-related standards, such as HTML, CSS, javascript, flash.
• Outstanding follow-through and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting (asp.net , js) as well as experience with relational databases (MS SQLServer ) is preferred.
• Advanced German language skills.
• At least intermediate English language skills.
