My Client is an international automotive corporation producing car lighting components who decided to build new production plant in Eastern Poland. On this unique occasion I am looking for a strong Candidate for a position of Technical Service Manager.
Roles and responsibilities of a Technical Service Manager is plant engineering operations, maintenance and testing required for electrical distribution, compressed air systems, boiler house, wastewater treatment plant, water supply, incinerators, fire monitoring and suppression systems. Apart from that chosen candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities regarding new site construction activities including preparing specifications, sourcing and managing contractors, enduring required authorisations submitted, managing projects and final commissioning and permitting. The task is to manage all utilities including sourcing of electricity and natural gas providers, forecasting, tracking and optimising energy use, and implementing energy projects to reduce cost and usage. Technical lead at the facility for the following: Regulatory compliance (Federal, Regional and Local); ISO 14001 / 18001 Management Systems; Safety Engineering/Risk Assessment and Mitigation; Construction Management; Civil/mechanical/Electrical Engineering; Energy management/Utility infrastructure; Utility supply sourcing and management; Ergonomics/Industrial Hygiene; Environmental engineering/Remediation/Due diligence; Waste management, recycling and disposal; Hazardous materials transportation/Chemical safety; Fire control/Emergency response; Occupational Work Health and Safety for all employees and visitors; Environmental protection and Waste management; Fire protection according to legal standards, regulations and norms; Energy management including press air generation, electricity, gas, heating/cooling, water, sewage.
General tasks for the position are to participate in audits as required, budgeting, support other departments as required, support top management and HR for discipline (re)enforcement, check feasibility for other locations/branches as required by the business.
Perfect Candidate should have time management, priority setting, planning and organization skills. Stress management, developing negotiation & presentation skills. Other requirements are willingness to learn, ability to teach others, seeking feedback, providing feedback, actively searches for improvement opportunities, capability to delegate, motivate. Perfect Candidate should be focused on Customer, results oriented and have leadership skills.
Required experience is 5 years of professional experience minimum. Education requirements – Bachelor/Master degree in Machinery, Electro, Economics, Technology, EHS, Energy. Driving Licence gr. B. He/ She must have previous experience in MS Office, Windows, SAP. English speaking abilities on the fluent level are also required.
