Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Netherlands.

This client produces ingredients for the Food and Beverage industry.The size and market position of this client makes them an attractive employer, with room for personal development. The company is constantly growing, also internationally, providing plenty of opportunity for employee growth.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As technical sales manager, you are responsible for negotiating key accounts and pushing sales in the Netherlands and Belgium. You do this while having a food technological background, allowing you to answer specific customer questions and explain the science behind your products. Although this is a junior position, you will be responsible for your own account, meaning some previous experience in sales is necessary. Ideally, you will have You develop marketing concepts, individual product concepts, you set and keep the budgets. The final responsibility is yours, but this adds flexibility and possibility to the role!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Following the market and anticipating changes
• Negotiating prices, concepts, conditions with B2B clients
• Managing key accounts
• Developing and marketing new accounts
• Setting and keeping budgets

REQUIREMENTS

• Background in Food Technology (BSc/MSc) or similar
• 3 years of experience in Food sales
• B2B experience is crucial, as you will be working with producers
• Pro-active attitude, clear and structured way of working
• Fluent Dutch, good written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel within Europe 50% of the time
