Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium. For our client we are looking for a technical sales manager.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The position of Technical Sales Manager is to be primarily responsible for sales development and product detailing to existing and potential customers in the defined market segments. As such, you will be working with key decision makers in the market to influence demand (sales) and support market share development. The product line covered by this position will include products sold by direct as well as those sold via distributors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- You are responsible for identifying sales opportunities
- Identifying key customer requirements and demonstrate to our customers how our products and services satisfy their requirements.
- Negotiating and closing sales deals. Following-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and expand business opportunities.
- Maintaining and updating data about their territories and accounts. Managing technical sales reps in your area.
- Give lead to a team of five internal sales managers and give feedback to the R&D teams.
- Keeping management informed about local developments in our field of business.

REQUIREMENTS

-A college or university qualification in food technology, chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent.
-Minimum experience of five years in the field of conduct.
-Previous laboratory experience, preferably in bakery or dairy manufacture.
-Minimum of five years experience
-Willing to travel 40% of the time
