Your next position
Technical support of sales of company's solutions (CCTV systems), with focus mainly on sales support activities.
Sales support
•Proactively look for areas to expand company solution footprint through identifying opportunities and working directly with sales team to drive new revenue
•Provide technical and engineering support to sales team related to potential client system new installation or expansion,
•Participate actively in customer visits and exhibitions, but also support RFI/RFQ responses
•Capability to understand customer issues and goals, and propose relevant system architecture, with the support of the Technical Support Team.
•Reply to customer requests and issue quotations
•Manage demonstration and Proof of Concept to customer
Technical support
•Provide occasionally on-site technical support including solution improvement recommendations
•Respond and resolve customer technical issues received by phone and email, with the support of the technical team.
•Escalate customer related issues through proper channels and ensure timely resolution to issues
•Perform follow-ups with customer(s) to ensure satisfaction
•Prepare and present end-user technical training
•Oversee demo/test lab equipment pool, customer testing setup & results
What do you need to succeed?
•Degree in Computer Sciences or related field or 5+ years equivalent experience in related industry
•Understanding and experience with CCTV systems, cameras, video over IP and related systems
•Good knowledge of MS Windows7, 10 and MS Windows Server OS
•Excellent knowledge of networking principles and the IP protocol
•Knowledge of PC configuration, Windows operating system troubleshooting
•Experience with networking equipment configuration and troubleshooting (switches, routers, etc)
•Ability to identify up-sell sales opportunities
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
•Understanding of SQL databases
•Good knowledge of Linux OS (ideally Debian)
