Technical Project Manager

Seeking a project manager with background in technology and risk management who would be integral in supporting the risk manager in identifying, assessing/measuring risks, identifying remediation actions, and monitoring risks.

• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver Audit Findings, including setting Management Action Plans and Target Dates; ensure remediation delivery is completed on time and accurately
• Maintain communication between the team and various stakeholders
• Work closely with the Risk Manager and Divisional Control Officer team, who are responsible for the lifecycle management of audit, regulatory and self-identified risk findings
• Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards
• Assist to identify new and emerging risks by the risk and control team or by the business lines themselves
• Identify any dependencies that might prohibit or slow the adoption or implementation of a given project
• Ensure appropriate team member and stakeholder awareness/oversight of follow-up on action items to resolve identified technology issues
• Assist the Finding Owners in drafting Audit Finding Lifecycle Event Documentation (SII Creation, Interim to Final TDE, Closures, Reclassifications, Risk Acceptance)
• Assist in collecting evidence of same (or work independently if sufficient skills and experience in this area)
• Assist in reviewing Design and Operational Effectiveness of remediation of Audit Findings

• 5+ years in IT project management/ experience and knowledge of program management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in creating project-related documents
• Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and responsibilities concurrently
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to define situations, document data and draw conclusions
• Capacity to work both independently and within a team
• Knowledge of technology in the financial services industry
• Experience with audit/finding lifecycle management and documentation would be beneficial
• Familiarity with review of design and operational effectiveness for finding closure would be beneficial
• Previous relevant experience in technology risk management, risk advisory, or audit management would be beneficial
• Technology background in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial: information security, application development, patch management, production stability and capacity, disaster recovery, SDLC, Java Development and technology roadmap compliance

Investment Banking and Audit Lifecycle management background preferred
