technical project manager

Would you like to.:

• Work closely with clients and engineering teams to deliver leading edge technical solutions to latest online business challenges.
• Work with clients and consultancy teams to estimate projects and produce development release plans.
• Use Agile techniques to manage the day to day development activities.
• Manage project scope, risks and issues ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
• Escalate issues to the clients/consultancy teams
• Plan and manage project resourcing requirements.
• Provide regular updates on project status to clients and internal teams.
• Manage project retrospectives and implement lessons learned.
• Help promote best practices for technical project management within the company.
• Be part of a high energy team focused on full life-cycle development.
• Manage development teams of 3-8 people from project definition through implementation and QA to client signoff.

Main requirements:

• Ideally with an academic background in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years experience in the analysis, design, development and implementation of large-scale web based applications.
• Experience managing projects with OO languages such as Java, J2EE, .NET, etc.
• Exposure to formal project management methodologies, such as Prince & RUP
• Exposure to Agile methodology knowledge, such as Extreme Programming (XP) & SCRUM
• Leadership experience in assessing staff skill levels, assigning work appropriately, directing team in specific project activities and estimation.
• Excellent English communication skills written and oral communication skills.
