Release Manager

We are looking for a motivated Release Manager to join our client's team from the investment banking industry. You will join the Infrastructure Security Engineering area, particularly focused on End User & Market Data services.
On this position, you will work with the Software Engineers, Product Owners and Business Analysts. Luxoft will support your professional growth and enable long-term goals achievement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Outline of the responsibilities (not limited to):
- Plan the releases
- Engage with operational teams to ensure risk and change controls are in place for on-time delivery of high quality software components;
- Manage requirement calls, issue meetings and go/no go presentations;
- Coordinate build and test environments and testing schedules;
- Provide the management with reports on project progress when required;
- Monitor and support from the PM perspective the development and deployment of virtual desktop platforms for multiple users;
- Supervise the activities related to Windows desktop imaging, remote access, Thin Client or User Profile Management;
- Participate as the Release Manager in regular image releases for VDIs (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) as well as other platform updates to support End User environment;
- Adhering to Project Lifecycle in terms of initiation, planning, implementation, and closure of different project phases;
- Communicating to Senior stakeholders and reporting to the respective Project/Program Managers;
- Participating in the analysis of business requirements in close cooperation with technical specialists, analysts, product owners
SKILLS
MUST
Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Release Manager / Project Manager / Service Delivery Manager
- Good understanding of the Release and Change Management and the difference between the two
- Experience in Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Hands-on experience with planning and coordinating the releases, as well as testing activities for software components
- Familiarity with Agile methodology (Scrum framework)
- Knowledge of SDLC
- Very good communication skills

- Cloud infrastructure experience
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian Jira
- Experience with GitLab, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Server (201x series)
- Experience with ServiceNow / Splunk / VMWare ESXi
