Technical Product Manager
Location: Kraków
We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team as a Technical Product Manager. The role is accountable for managing technical backlog and providing technical guidance on product development by bringing Digital Product Managers, Architects, Engineering, DevOps, Security and Governance along with the journey.
The successful candidate will be part of and work with the Communications Hub business and technical leadership team to ensure product and platform design and integration is world class. He or she will coordinate with other programs to ensure all required outcomes are delivered in the highest quality and standard.
Key Accountabilities:
Work with Business, Digital Product Managers, Engineering and DevOps teams, and responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of a discrete set of products or business services, or shared products/platforms/environments that are used/consumed by other teams
Accountable with the Architecture /Product Managers to review requirements from
a testability perspective and formulate the non-functional requirements
Work with Dynamic and Technical platform to leverage site standards including site structure, page templates, accessibility, navigation, and the site information architecture
Work with digital product manager to ensure that work is de-constructed and translated into development activities across teams
Accountable for the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritization across teams and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to Agile and Technology Practices
Participate as part of the DevOps leadership team in ensuring consistent process and practice is maintained across the DevOps team and development, release and production service are maintained in line with expectation
Accountable together with Security Specialists or Product Manger to formulate testable security requirements
Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered
Ensure the cost base for the products and services is managed in line with controls applied by the Head of (Product) Technology and associated Chief Information Officer (CIO) function
Drive development and support in the Cloud by following a ‘Cloud First’ strategy
Requirements:
At least 5-10 years of relevant IT experience, including exposure to technical product planning, full SDLC life cycle, systems analysis, and application development
Experience working through the definition, design, and release cycle of delivering a software product to market - using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong stakeholder management, leadership, technical project management, time management, and problem-solving skills
Experience in leading a technology team on a global scale preferred
Experience working on content management systems preferably on Adobe Experience Manager
Experience in creating technical and non-functional requirements and prioritizing them with functional requirements delivery
A Bias for getting the job done; you recognize discordant views and take part in the constructive dialogue to resolve them
Experience of environment(s) that contains complex activities that span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures
An enthusiasm and aptitude for learning new skills and practices
Nice to have:
Application Architecture and Development, APIs build & deployment a plus
Experience in DevOps environment
