For our Client, Maersk Drilling, who is openning a new office in Gdańsk we are currently looking for:
Technical Procurement Specialist Team Lead
The position as the Technical Procurement Specialist Team Lead (TPS) has the responsibility to manage the local operational supply chain team either directly or indirectly.The TPS Team Lead will be responsible to drive performance and continues improvement of the local team and in coordination with the rest of the global team and stakeholders ensure to align on expectations and priorities. The TPS Team Lead will also be an individual contributor and be responsible for coordinating the supply chain activities for multiple assigned drilling rigs. The main priority of the role is day to day purchasing (placing POs, expediting and invoice matching) including but not limited to supply chain planning and execution, logistics, contract management, supplier relationship management, cost management, and operational readiness. The TPS manages technical rig purchasing and is the daily technical link between the overall Supply Chain Management team and the rig team. The position ensures timely delivery of equipment, spare parts, rentals, services and supplies in the correct quantity, with the correct quality, at prices which reduce the total cost & value of ownership.

Our Client requires:
- Strong communication skills, networking and interpersonal skills through which you can engage with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders
- Formal technical education (e.g. engineering) at bachelor level or equivalent within relevant field such as a Mechanic or Electrician. Any offshore experience is a plus
- Minimum 8 years of relevant job experience e.g. within supply chain or as technical support whereof minimum 5 years of leadership experience
- Have Procurement experience within a similar role
- Fluent written / verbal English
