Currently, for one of our Clients, we are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Tax Specialist.
Location: Warsaw
Key responsibilities on this role will cover ongoing monitoring of all law changes – especially CIT, VAT and excise duty and their timely implementation, liaising closely with tax authorities and managing tax controls and audits in the company’s registered seat and in various locations of the company operations, ongoing tax support for the business (mainly in the area od VAT, excise duty and CIT; to the lower extent PIT, property tax and other), validation of new business scenarios, participation in the business meetings where tax expertise is required. On such position you will also initiate ideas to improve and simplify tax related processes, sign-off of the tax compliance of various IT systems to be implemented in the company, monitoring and coordinating the execution of internal rules and procedures to assure tax compliance (including cooperation with the internal financial shared service centre), cooperation with auditors, external tax advisers and lawyers, preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
From our Candidates we expect master degree (preferred faculties: Economy, Law, Finance or Accounting), at least 3 years of experience gained in multinational tax advisory or law firm or alternatively 5 years business tax adviser experience, experience in tax audits and cooperation with the tax authorities, efficient business partnering and communication skills to translate complex tax rules into simple business language. Polish Certified Tax Advisor qualification would be an additional advantage (but is not required). Experience in the tax reporting would be an additional advantage (but is not required).
We are looking for a person who gained general financial and accounting knowledge, has analytical and problem-solving skills, has proactive and flexible attitude to take over new interesting tasks. Person on this position needs to be fluent in English (speaking & writing).
