Responsibilities:
Leads the pursuit of the company's tax strategy, including planning, searching for and proposing solutions, updating tax knowledge, reporting, training for internal departments and liaising with tax authorities and other institutions,
Reviews the company's current and proposed actions, business practices and transactions for compliance with applicable tax laws and standards and proposes solutions to disputes,
Ensures the timeliness and reliability of tax reporting,
Advises the top management on tax matters and their impact on the company's current and future financial standing, also with respect to changes in tax legislation and their impact on the company,
To the extent necessary, works with external consultancies to identify tax solutions most advantageous for the company,
Manages the work and development of team of subordinates to ensure that tax strategies are effectively deployed and pursued in keeping with the adopted precepts and objectives.
Requirements:
Master's degree, preferably in tax,
Strong knowledge of VAT, CIT, tax law,
Knowledge of corporate international income tax required,
Fluent written and spoken English is essential,
Computer Literate – strong Microsoft Excel skills,
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizing and execution skills.
