A completely new role has arisen in a well-established international company in Poznań. The company is currently looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join their structures. It is a truly global role responsible for managing the tax compliance and planning for the company’s products.The company is well-known for its innovative technology solutions and an inclusive culture.
Tax Manager’s responsibilities will involve but will not be limited to:
Managing, coaching and overseeing the day to day operations of the local tax team of 2 people with the prospect of growing the team in the future
Cooperating closely with closely with managers in other business units and the global tax team members
Managing the preparation of various tax returns (corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, VAT returns)
Performing complex tax analyses, calculations and other determinations as well as reviewing new tax laws and advising about consequences or opportunities for the business
Advising portfolio managers or product development teams on tax consequences of specific transactions
Participating in various international tax projects.
Candidate requirements:
Qualified accountant/tax advisor with minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience gained in a public accounting firm or in an industry position (financial services experience will be an advantage)
Exposure to an international taxation
Fluency in English language (written and spoken)
1.5 + years of team management experience
Strong technical research, analysis and writing skills
