• improving accounting processes from a VAT and duties perspective • designing and set up of automated and manual controls on VAT compliance & data quality • working with stakeholders and developing effective relationships as needed • maintaining and continuously improve on Tax compliance • preparing and monitoring tax filings to be sent to our Client’s Tax Service Provider(s) on VAT, EC sales, Intrastat and Duties for various countries across Europe • Ensuring timely payment of tax returns • Guide handling and payment of duties on non EU exports and imports • Accounting for duties on non EU imports and exports
The skills you’ll need:
• minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in SSC environment • accounting and VAT background • fluent spoken and written English • university degree in Finance/Accounting • good MS Office Skills, especially MS Excel, knowledge of Navision would be an asset • strong communication skills and experience in working in an international environment • solid self-organization and ability to set priorities to meet deadlines • team player with eagerness to share knowledge, natural problem solver
