Your new company
Our client is one of the largest design and consulting american company in the world, operating in over 150 countries.
A new SSC, in the heart of Bucharest (Romana Square) were key finance functions will be migrated from USA and Canada.
Your new role
- Research US, Canada and other International indirect tax laws applicable to relevant contracts, audits and systems content
- Reviewing the notice from the tax authorities;
- Preparing the standard documentation for the tax inspectors (various affidavits, statuses of input/output VAT etc.);
- Staying in touch with the tax inspectors and gathering requirements from them and transmitting them to his/her superior;
- Arranging documentation (correlating contracts, invoices, other relevant documentation);
- Doing tax research as instructed by supervisor;
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree holder in Business with emphasis on Accounting and Tax
- 2-3 years of experience with VAT compliance and/or advisory
- Ability to do tax research independently and to communicate effectively with tax and none tax professionals
-Fluent English (written & spoken)
- Oracle or other system is a plus
