For our Client, Shared Service Center of well-known international manufacturing company located in Katowice we are looking for Candidates interested in System Owner position.
Your new role
The System Owner will be responsible for technical operations of the systems and services. Such person will ultimately responsible for the system health, monitoring, SLA definition, training of 1st and 2nd level staff including all systems changes to ensure proper operations. System Owner will also be responsible for maintaining agreed SLA, developing system roadmap and act as the quality gate keeper for the project and changes implemented in the system.

What you'll need to succeed
An ideal candidate should have previous experience in managed/supported finance and administration tools systems (on perm and cloud). You need to hold 4+ years of experience in an IT Service Management environment and 4 years in an international environment. You need to have strong administrative experience in cloud services and infrastructures such as MS Azure and AWS. Also, you should have experience in other infrastructure services related to virtualization. You should also have knowledge of technologies such as JDA Software, LIMS/StarLIMS, Oracle DB,, Windows Server, MS SQL, backup and restore tools and monitoring tools. Additionally, you need to be fluent in English. You will need some soft skills, like communication or negotiations, previous experience with managing vendors or experience in working in ITIL regulated environment.

You will be responsible for:
- Ensure and control application/system operation/platform operation
- Act as escalation manager
- Perform Application Consulting to business partner
- Ensure proper knowledge transfer to 1st and 2nd level
- Manage Service and System budget
- Manage business critical Incidents to meet business requirements
- Ensure Application, Driver and relevant Middleware compatibility and operations
- Technical operation, including corrective and pro-active maintenance
- Change and Release Management
- Meet availability and performance targets
- Plan availability, license, operational costs and capacity of the relevant applications
- continuous improvement on systems
- Operational tasks and help in the implementation of several proof of concepts of future proof Cloud infrastructure services in alignment with Enterprise architecture and service owner
- Perform tasks and activities with minimal oversight in a team environment; interact regularly with team members, principal investigators and project managers.
- Work with other Service and System Owners to develop next generation of working environment with regards to cloud computing
- future proof hybrid on prem and cloud based data center model
- Technical knowledge in server setup, cloud services and management across multiple environments – desktop, cluster, cloud, etc.
- Work with Project Teams to initiate the project delivery for the implementation of future services
