For our Client, financial institution based in Kraków, we are looking for Candidate to join one of Investigation- Surveillance team.
While working at this role you will be responsible for monitoring services of company’s employees.Your role would be to detect potential cases of untoward activities or behaviors that may be inappropriate and damage the Firm's reputation, possible violations of regulatory rules, industry standards and firm policies.
Specifically, you will be responsible for coopering with the on-shore global markets and banking business and understanding unusual communication and trading behaviors, undertaking independent surveillance and monitoring in order to obtain assurance that the businesses are operating in line with relevant laws, regulations, codes and Group Standards.Global regulators have an increasing expectation that firms have adequate systems and controls to conduct surveillance against, among others, market abuse offences such as Insider Dealing, Market Manipulation and Dissemination.
What is more, you will maintain statistics and metrics for appropriate stakeholders, identify patterns and contribute to management reports for appropriate escalation of significant issues, accomplishments and forward looking risks.
We are looking for Candidates with excellent English and Spanish or French or Greek or Czech. Degree in finance and at least 2 years’ experience in banking/ accountancy/ finance operations are required. We are looking for detail oriented Candidate with excellent analytical skills and interest in surveillance activities. Knowledge of Electronic / Audio or Trade Surveillance monitoring tools would be an asset.
