Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
They are a global food player who want to improve their global position.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain Specialist you are responsible for improving the supply chain efficiency on process level in cooperation with other departments to make sure that the supply chain remains GMP compliant and in accordance with the market campaign.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supply Chain Specialist you will be responsible for the (European) logistics activities and you will support and initiate the distribution strategy of the client’s products. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Making sure that the client’s supply chain is GMP compliance
-Dealing with a complex supply chain; short deliver times, short life cycles, demand driven and high promotion pressure
-Making and initiating performance reports
-Represent your portfolio in the Global Demand S&OP Meetings
-Drive improvements and being active on decision making level
-Integration between the client and another company, you will be responsible in making sure that the customer requirements are met
REQUIREMENTS
-BSc or MSc in Logistics, Business or any other related field required
-Working experience within a logistics or supply chain role, extensive knowledge of SAP is preferred.
-Experience in leading a team in a professional setting and being flexible
-Experience with ERP systems and dealing with suppliers
