Job description:
- Makes sure that the materials and components are available to meet planned production and customer demands;
- Is responsible for setting up proper raw materials and components inventory targets;
- Is in charge of inventory level of his raw material and components families, defines and leads actions connected with inventory level optimization;
- Manages master data and MRP parameters of his component portfolio, is responsible for correctness of system parameters and data;
- Validates and sends on a weekly basis the forecasts and orders to the suppliers;
- Monitors suppliers’ performance in terms of backorders and Supplier Service Rate in order to anticipate potential issues, notify logistic incidents and lead suppliers’ performance improvement plan;
- Is a leader of potential short supply recovery activities, identifies blocking points and plans appropriate quick actions to resolve them;
- Controls suppliers’ PDCAs and clarification of responsibilities for logistic incidents created, collects, issues and communicates chargeback levels;
- Flags potential supply issues based on alerts coming from suppliers or detected via the system, coordinates containment actions within relevant networks (Purchasing, Quality etc.);
- Is responsible for deployment of Valeo standards related to the suppliers and physical / information flow (electronic Re-Order process, rich ASN, standard labelling, packaging conformity, Logistic Protocols, EDI communication etc.).
Requirements:
- Engineering school or equivalent, added by the Basics of SCM from APICS certification;
- 1 or 2 Years in Supply Chain Management;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills;
- Fluent English;
- Teamwork spirit, ability to cope with stress, customer orientation.
