Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In a small, but young and enthousiastic team you are the person who is responsible to manage and optimize the complete supply chain process of this organisation. Your colleague is responsible for the ordering and billing process, you analyze customer orders, repay orders, and translate it into an accurate forecast and schedule. You are responsible for purchasing products at the factory in France, managing the stock and organizing transports (in and outbound). This is a product with very short THT, an accurate forecast is very important.

In this role you report directly to the CEO. You have to communicate with the internal stakeholders like marketing, sales, the CEO and production, but also with external stakeholders.

We are looking for a self starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, a person who takes responsibility and proactively contributes to improve the entire supply chain process. A sharp analytical ability is a must, combined with result-oriented setting and a critical look. As a small organization, you have many opportunities to pick up new projects to optimize the entire supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties and responsibilities include:
• Provide an accurate forecast to purchase the right amount of products;
• You manage the stocks of your product group, taking care of maximum availability at minimal costs;
• Daily communication towards warehouse and logistics operators;
• Initiate and coordinate projects for further professionalization of the planning process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in a supply chain, logistics or business administration direction;
• Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar function (within FOOD or FMCG sector is a pré);
• Knowledge of Exact or other ERP system is a pré;
• Excellent control of English language and at least a good command of Dutch (French is a pré);
• Analytically strong, result-oriented and not afraid to think critically;
• Feels comfortable with a lot of independence, freedom and responsibility.

OTHER

A 32-hour work week negotiable.
