For our Client, an international B2B company delivering packaging solutions for FMCG industry, located in Tczew we due to the rapid growth of the company we are currently looking for Supply Chain Manager.
This a new role within the organization with overall responsibility for Customer Service, Planning and Dispatch processes within a production plant. Supply Chain Manager will ensure the daily production plan is processed on a timely and accurate basis, ensure that the finished goods stock and production information are accurately updated and maintained as well as ensure that customer delivery schedules and specific requirements are achieved. On the other side, the hired person will determine the optimum stock levels for both finished goods and input materials, organise the supply of all bought-in products and manage the contracted warehousing and haulage services. Moreover, he/she will take ownership on lean initiatives and continuous improvement, assess new suppliers and work with existing suppliers to improve service levels focusing on minimising stock held and price and liaise with operations management and sales personnel to ensure they are fully informed of all relevant information regarding customers and operations. Scope of responsibilities includes also people management activities: motivation and coaching of the team to establish high performance, focus on customer service and develop a continuous improvement culture.
We are looking for a candidate with minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in a supply chain role with specific demand management/production planning exposure in a distribution/high volume manufacturing environment. The Desire Candidate for the position should possess good knowledge of budgeting and planning as well as have experience in creating/implementing a logistics strategy and dealing with 3PL companies. Of the person holding this position, we also expect strong organizational, analytical and time management skills as well as effective verbal and written communication skills. Ideal candidate has a university degree and excellent command of English.
