Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
They are a global pharmaceutical player who want to improve their global position.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain Manager you are responsible for improving the supply chain efficiency on process level in cooperation with other departments and deploy supply chain strategies and policies on regional and global level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the regional and global logistics activities and you will support and initiate the distribution strategy of the client’s products. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Managing the implementation of continuous improvement processes.
-Dealing with a complex supply chain; short deliver times, short life cycles, demand driven and high promotion pressure.
-Making sure the Supply Chain is compliant.
-Represent your portfolio in the Global Demand S&OP Meetings
-Evaluable and identify LSP’s and initiate outsourcing where possible
- Benchmark and improve the client’s Supply Chain and propose and initiate continuous improvement processes that will help with the competitiveness of the client.
REQUIREMENTS
-BSc or MSc in Logistics, Business or any other related field required
-Working experience within a logistics or supply chain role, extensive knowledge of SAP is preferred.
-Experience in leading a team in a professional setting and being flexible
-Experience with ERP systems and dealing with suppliers
