THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
They are an international food player who wants to expand to more countries and improve their foothold on international level.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain Manager you will play a key role for the planning of efficient stream of goods of your own product portfolio. You will be analyzing revenue and order information and make sure that the processes are planned accordingly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring that the plants are delivered the right amount of materials while meeting the quality requirements while keeping the costs as low as possible. Next to that you are responsible for:
-That the health regulations are met on local and national level
-Cooperating with other managers, purchasing and production managers for example making sure that every related process runs smoothly
-Dealing with a complex supply chain; short deliver times, short life cycles, demand driven and high promotion pressure
-Making and initiating performance reports
-Represent your portfolio in the Global Demand S&OP Meetings
-Drive improvements and being active on decision making level
REQUIREMENTS
-MSc in Logistics, Business or any other related field required
-Working experience (8+ years) within a logistics or supply chain role, extensive knowledge of SAP is preferred.
-Experience in leading a team in a professional setting and being flexible
