THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Netherlands.
They are a medium sized family company within the food industry with a well established brand of products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Supply Chain Manager Planning you will be in charge of the overall supply chain planning. To do this you manage a team of several demand, supply, material and production planners. By setting KPI's together with the Plant manager you set an strive to complete these goals as a team. This requires you to act both as manager and as coach to your team. Naturally part of this process is improving current business processes to improve: flow of goods, inventory issues and cost based challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will be responsible for the overall supply chain planning, this requires you to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders. Part of these internal stakeholders are departments such as: Sales, procurement, logistics and the plant manager. Also you will be responsible for:
- Continuously analysing and improving current forecasts
- Building long lasting relationships with suppliers
- Setting KPI's for the overall Supply Chain
- Leading and organising necessary improvements to the planning software
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Technical Business Administration or similar
- 3-5 Years' work experience in a Management position
- Fluent in both English and Dutch
- A good communicator to various layers of the organisation
- A coach by heart
