Supply Chain Manager (m/f)

Description
- A person hired on this position will be responsible for:
- Leading Operations Supply Chain team including components and FG warehouses
- Coordinating internal Master Production Schedule and S&OP process
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations, or laws
- Implementing or driving improvements on pull systems using Kan ban's, Heijunka to improve production levelling and material control
- Monitoring supplier performance to assess ability to meet delivery requirements
- Monitoring forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
- Meeting with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes
- Collaboration with other departments, such as procurement, production, and quality assurance, to identify and drive supply chain improvements
- Designing or implementing plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products
- Coordination with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products
- Defining performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as On Time delivery , Customer Back orders, Inventory levels, Stock turns, Sales Forecast
- Analysing inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimise customer service
- Participating in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
- Managing activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving
- Developing procedures and processes for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance
- Designing or implementing supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Evaluating and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory
- Selecting transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
Profile
- University degree related to Supply Chain
- At least 7 years of experience in a Supply Chain management role in a manufacturing international company
- Operations experience with ERP knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of planning methodologies and lean operations
- Strong analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of verbal and written English
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Ability to make difficult decisions
- High level of assertiveness, collaboration, time management and interpersonal sensitivity
