Supply Chain Manager (m/f)
Responsible for all movements and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption with the ultimate goal to optimize inventory for operations in Poland.

Our client is an international production company of automotive sector. Due to further growth and development we are searching for Supply Chain Manager.
Description
A person hired at this position will be responsible for:
- Budget of own area
- Material Planning and home-call
- Inventory decisions, including quantity, location, and quality of inventory
- Material planning, including current inventory and forecast demand, in collaboration with all suppliers
- Inbound operations, including transportation from suppliers and receiving inventory
- Material planning and buying based on master plan and purchase agreements made by sourcing
- Supplier management together with sourcing, quality and supplier quality
- Ensures optimal inventory level and on time delivery - managing the balance between actual inventory and delivery performance; manage obsolete materials
- Monitoring and optimization of processes incoming goods,
- Warehouse Management
- Safe and effective parts and component storage system
- Receiving and booking in ERP
- Material handling and kitting, replenishment of production based on production plan
- Inventory control together with finance
- Managing of HUB (central warehouse)
- Shipping and outbound logistics of final goods to customers
- Outbound operations, including all fulfillment activities, warehousing and transportation to customers
- Customs clearance
- Defining the parameters within new projects, and also for initiating and following up measures aimed at continuous improvement of the primary and supporting processes of material handling; initiating, guiding and directing improvement processes relating to logistic
- Co-operation with other BU SCM teams for best practice sharing
- Supervising Buyers, indirect buyers; warehouse, in- and outbound Logistics
Profile
- Higher educational degree in logistic, technical or commerce
- Minimum 5 years in operations, plus 3 to 5 years in logistics and/or supply chain managerial position at a multi-national company, preferably in automotive industry
- Knowledge and experience in world class level supply chain management methods and tools (lean, 5S, Kanban, WMS, JIT, VMI, consignment stock, etc.)
- Knowledge in automotive quality standards and requirements
- ERP knowledge
- Understanding and holistic view of supplier market trends
- Outstanding negotiator and communicator
- Excellent co-operation skills
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and available to travel
