Role Description
Certifications consultant provides support in all aspects of sustainable certifications (e.g. EU organic), like: translating legal/certification bodies requirements and enforcing, within the organization, compliance checking, auditing preparation, carrying audits, training and first point of contact with certification body.
Responsibilities
-Act as the First point of contact with certification bodies for the 3 entities to be certified in the Netherlands (e.g. with SKAL for the EU organic)
-Provides expertise, training and cascade requirements to the relevant organization
-Support the organization to reach compliance for the certification – coordinate cross-functions
-Coordinate and collect cross-functional inputs for the audit preparation
-Lead the audits
-Interface with certification bodies in case of issues/ incidents
Requirements
-University degree in general sciences or technical discipline
-Minimum 3 year of technical experience in Chain of custody certifications
-Depth of experience within Food industries and EU organic certification as minimum
-Excellent organization, written and vocal communication
-Fluent in English and Dutch. An additional European language spoken is a plus.
