Client Details
My client is a well known, growing and innovative manufacturing business in Wrocław
Description
- Develop and maintain supplier's quality performance according to VDA 6.3 /6.5
- Drive supplier quality management in line with company control procedures, and relevant regulatory standards
- Help suppliers developing Component Quality Plans and ensure the Component Quality Plans are updated when required.
- Maintain the Component Quality Plan Database.
- Raise Reject Notes and request 8D reports from the supplier.
- Work directly with the supplier to facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
- Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues.
- Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
- Support process improvement activities at the supplier.
- Support the Internal Quality team to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance.
Profile
- Audit experience with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3
- Understanding manufacturing processes of a range of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Understanding of Metrology, Inspection Methods and Equipment.
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Full clean driving licence
- Past experience working in a Supplier Quality Engineer position
- Good command of english
- Good interpersonal skills
